Review of Hidden Thorns

Hidden ThornsHidden Thorns by Melissa Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a leisurely stroll through the development of a sweet romance between a terrified, fragile, very recently divorced devout Christian woman and the handsome, commitment-phobic detective who is trying to find the stalker who has shaken up her world. While the editing is not all it should be, the story itself is an emotional roller-coaster ride and has a lot to recommend it if this is your style of read.

Just read Cry Wolf

Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1)Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love this series. These are my absolute favorite characters. I wouldn’t want to have suffered what Anna had to suffer, but in Charles I think she got the best consolation prize ever. The rest of the cast is loaded with individuals with quirks and foibles and their own strong voices. A trek across a mountain in winter? Not my first choice of honeymoon, but Briggs makes it work! Total winner. A+
